Top Kitchen Remodeling Trends for 2026 Renovations That Add the Most Value to Sarasota Homes 10 Essential Questions to Ask Before Starting Work With Your Contractor Florida's 2026 Building Standards: What Homeowners Need to Know The Complete Guide to Mother-in-Law Suites Building Your Dream Home in Southwest Florida
A Sarasota bathroom should be comfortable, easy to keep clean, and built to handle Florida humidity. From walk-in showers and tub-to-shower conversions to complete renovations, Joshua Scott Homes plans and builds bathrooms that work as well as they look.
A bathroom remodel is about more than new tile. It's a chance to fix everyday frustrations — awkward layouts, poor lighting, dated fixtures, or a shower that no longer suits how you live. Whether you want a spa-like primary bath, a more accessible guest bath, or a sleek powder room, the right plan makes all the difference.
Joshua Scott Homes starts with how you use the space and builds a scope around it. We coordinate fixtures, tile, cabinetry, lighting, and ventilation so everything works together and performs well in Florida's humid climate.
Walk-in showers, curbless entries, and tub-to-shower conversions designed for comfort and easy cleanup.
Freestanding tubs and built-in soaking options where a full bath is still part of your routine.
Porcelain, ceramic, and stone tile on walls and floors, chosen for durability and resistance to moisture.
Vanities, medicine cabinets, and smart storage that keep counters clear and essentials within reach.
Layered lighting for grooming and ambience, plus faucets, showerheads, and hardware that fit your style.
Grab bars, curbless showers, and comfortable layouts that make the bathroom safer and easier to use for years to come.
Bathrooms see far more moisture than any other room, and Sarasota's humidity only adds to it. Proper ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and correct waterproofing under tile are what keep a remodel looking good — and free of mold and mildew — over time.
We plan ventilation and material choices together so the bathroom stays dry, comfortable, and easy to maintain. These details matter just as much as the finishes you see on the surface.
We coordinate every trade — plumbing, tile, electrical, and finishes — under one roof so the project runs smoothly.
